TommyWonk on Progressive Voices Tonight, WVUD 91.3 FM
Marian Peleski and Dana Garrett of Delaware Watch have invited me on this evening's edition of Progressive Voices, which airs tonight and every Monday night at 7:30 to 8:00 on WVUD, 91.3 FM. (You can listen online here.) The topic is of course wind power. I'll try to shed some light on the machinations in Leg Hall and explain why wind power is not likely to be more expensive than conventional power.
I also want to thank you again for looking out after the best interests of my family and myself. Knowing that you are following the wind power issue & debate w/ understanding and an activism is a real comfort. It also makes you the most important blogger in Delaware in my view.
Tom Noyes started TommyWonk five years ago with a post about a famous conceptual art parody. Since then, Tom has increasingly focused on energy, economics and the environment, most notably Delaware's wind power saga.
Tom covered the Democratic National Convention and is a regular contributor to the Guardian's opinion site, Comment is free.
Tom works as a finance geek, having earned an MBA in the subject. He has served in city and state government, managed two non-profit organizations, worked on any number of political campaigns.
Tom lives in Wilmington with his books, his guitars, his bicycle, his pots and pans and with hopes of finding a new home in the city.
