The Actual Cost of the War

Linda Bilmes of the Kennedy School at Harvard and Joseph E. Stiglitz of Columbia have analyzed the economics of the war in Iraq. Their result: the total cost of the war will run $1 trillion or more.

I thought the report said the cost would be up to $2 trillion. Even $1 trillion is about $90 billion more than BushCo estimated it would cost in its more lucid moments.

Anyway, bring on the tax cuts !
