TommyWonk to Talk Energy on WDEL Today

I’ve been invited to talk about the latest developments in the energy saga with Allan Loudell on WDEL, 1150 AM, at 12:14. As noted yesterday, Delmarva Power filed an appeal of the Public Service Commission’s decision directing the company to open negotiations to bring wind power to Delaware.
Update: I just got off the line with Allan. He's great at covering a lot of ground in a hurry.

How did this go, Tommy? I connected to WDEL at 1230 as soon as I read this, but I guess I was too late.

I think it went well. We discussed the possible reasons for the legal maneuvering, DPL's ongoing opposition to the entire RFP process, political ramifications and the difference between public support for wind in Delaware compared to local opposition in Massachusetts.

I'm guessing that DPL's appeal to Superior Court is part stalling tactic and part an attempt to cover their options as it were.

Allan Loudell is great to work with; he's smart and snappy. This was the second time I've been on the air with him, and hopefully not the last.

Loudell is definitely fast becoming my favorite WDEL personality.

If you have a recording of it, I'm sure I'm not the only person that would like to have heard it.
