That's two straw polls Clark is leading. We're updating this as well as the poll at MyDD.

It's difficult to know to what degree this represents support for Wesley Clark and to what degree it represents activist disillusionment with Senators Clinton and Kerry.

A week or so before the Iowa caucuses in 2004, I attended the Upper Dublin, Montgomery County Democratic Caucus, the only one of its kind in Pennsylvania. The result: Wesley Clark in first, Howard Dean in second, hardly any votes for anyone else. The clear message of the caucus with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight: frontrunner Howard Dean was in deep trouble.

As in 2004, only time will tell what the precise message of the Daily Kos poll is. But Clark fans should be happy, and backers of other candidates should know that they have seen a warning sign.
