Labor Day Weekend

The Labor Day Weekend traditionally marks the time when voters start paying attention to the candidates. Put another way, for most people, politics is ending its preseason and just now getting real.
The typical blogger gets far more worked up over politics than does the typical voter, which is one reason why I find it useful to remind myself that in politics other points of view are not only to be expected, but may ocassionally be rational.
